WAHAWK AIR MUSEUM
Since opening in 1989, the Warhawk Air Museum has featured exhibits showcasing rare, flyable military aircraft; vehicles; an extensive collection of personalized veteran memorabilia; and immersive galleries spanning from World War I through the Global War on Terror. Additionally, it has a new, state-of-the-art, 37,000-square-foot Global War on Terror (GWOT) wing. The expansion marks a new era for the museum and provides a place to honor GWOT veterans.
For 35 years, the Warhawk Air Museum has pursued its mission to “educate visitors about the cost of freedom and honor those who paid its price.” It preserves and honors veterans’ personal histories while providing a place for sharing and healing.
